On April 2, 2018, Boxlight Corporation (NASDAQ: BOXL) reported results for its fiscal year ended December 31, 2017.

Departure of Boxlight’s CFO

On March 15, 2018, Sheri Lofgren, CFO at Boxlight (NASDAQ: BOXL) tendered her resignation. Lofgren’s decision to resign was for personal reasons. There were no disagreements between Lofgren and the company on any matter relating to the company’s operations, policies or practices which resulted in her resignation.

On March 15, 2018, the board of Boxlight appointed Takesha Brown to serve as the new CFO. Since April 2017, Brown served as Boxlight’s Controller. From 2010 through 2017, Brown first served in the role as Controller and then as Financial Reporting Manager at General Electric in Atlanta, Georgia. Brown started her career in public accounting, first with PricewaterhouseCoopers, then Ernst & Young until 2010. At the time of her departure from Ernst & Young, Brown was an Audit Senior Manager. Brown is a licensed CPA with a BS in Commerce and Business Administration and a Masters of Accounting from The University of Alabama.
